The 9 Series Checkmate is a heavy-duty, surface-mounted stop and holder designed for high-traffic interior or exterior doors that withstand heavy abuse.

  • The less spring (LS) option omits spring for special applications
  • Surface on/off knob on hold open models
  • Complete screw packet with thru-bolts for door, plus wood and machine screws for frame
  • For security areas, Torx screws are optional
  • Helps protect door and frame in abusive situations
  • Can be used on doors that do not have surface or floor closers
  • Stop is independent of any door closing hardware
